Eligibility Requirements

The Sam S. Bloom Foundation welcomes applications from 501(c)(3) organizations
operating within the State of Colorado and providing one or more of the following
services.
 Programs promoting and supporting the self-sufficiency of individuals and
families through education, job training, and life skill enhancement.
 Programs offering parent education and improved parent – child interaction.
 Programs supporting early childhood and preschool education.
 Programs promoting child development.
The Sam S. Bloom Foundation uses a Modified Colorado Common Grant
Application. A grant application packet containing grant guidelines, program
overview, application procedures and a Modified Colorado Common Grant
application checklist is available from the Foundation every March. The Foundation
welcomes the opportunity to communicate with grant seekers. We understand
valuable resources are devoted to the submission of a grant application. The
Foundation therefore encourages contact to determine if your organization’s work
aligns with Foundation guidelines and Values statement.
We support organizations that prioritize values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The annual proposal submission deadline is May 1. Applicants will be notified in
writing of all grant decisions. Grants are awarded in November.
